We both love dumplings and we discovered that there are different kinds that come from all over the world. Almost every country has a type of dumpling such as Chinese potstickers, Russian Pelmeni, Poland and Ukraine have Pierogi. Italy has ravioli, India some somosas, Japan has , Napolese have momo, Germany has Maultaschen, Mexico empananda, Puerto Rico has Pasteles, Central Asia/Turkey has Manti.

Key characteristics (other wording better) are a type of wrap that fillings such as meat, pork, chicken, seafood such as shrimp or white fish, vegetables, cheese, potatoes or sweet fruits such as blueberries.
